There is no
other section of river I am more comfortable with than the stretch
of the Skykomish River between Sultan and Monroe. A full
day's float will provide you with more quality water than you can
conceivably cover in on the short winter days of January and
February. And when June 1st rolls around, the Skykomish will
once again become an option as there are fresh pulses of chrome
summer-runs pushing their way into the system all through the
summer months.
